Fasting for Power…. LETS DO IT!!!

Dear God,

 

Thank you for everything. At times there are moments when we feel we need you more than others and fasting is a clear indicator. I have decided to fast for weak areas in my life to be strengthened and enriched. My prayer is one of humility and guidance and its simply, What do I eat? What do I pray? How do I be? How do you truly want me to be? These are some of the most powerful things to ask yourself in transitioning yourself to becoming all God wants you to be.

In fasting it's a time when we are irritable and so we need God to help us with our attitudes. It's a time when we are searching within for answers. Exercising and proper breathing is important to our bodies. Water is also important to our bodies. Forgiveness is also another important factor in receiving what we want from God.

I utilize fasting as a time to access spiritual things and changes that I would not have been privileged to had I not been in a deep prayer or fast. Jesus said it himself that some things happen only as a direct result of praying and fasting. I believe that some of you are only a prayer or a fast away from a miracle breakthrough. Only believe! If you have your mind, you can begin to put your body back together again. No matter what the ailment or affliction is. Try fasting. Ease into it about a week before hand. Stay prayerful. Ask God to heal you in whatever the area is. Then share your testimonies; I will…

Old Spice Return...

I tried the old spice and I must say its making a comeback! It smell good. One question I have is why do ladies like these wack, cheezy commercials? I'm sorry but these commercials are not that hot but they do seem to be getting the attention of the ladies. I guess sex still sells and all someone who is selling sex has to do is to remove some clothing. Interesting.... Good luck OLD SPICE!

Chimamanda Adichie: The danger of a single story

Life is all about stories. We have to be very cautious of our perception because it can move us into a mental direction that locks us out of a world full of possibilities and lock us into a world of solitude where only mis-information is the dominating journalist. Africa is full of beauty and for African American history lets replace negative stereotypes with the positivity that will spread like a wild fire of hope in peoples lives. Something that will inspire the masses to be more cognize of what we say and not excepting one persons voice as the voice of the masses.

This is what we are seeing all over the world as people overthrow governments such as in Egypt and all over the world. Lets tell the whole story of Africa for 30 days and if its true that habits are created in only 21 days then we would have changed the lives of at least everyone who told a different story. One which entails true humanity and positivity and embraces the lifestyle of people who are filled with love, joy and intelligence. One that spot lights a people who are civilized and healthy. One that says African Americans can hold high positions such as Barack Obama. Lets tell those stories for the month of February 2011 that unites all humanity instead of seeking to separate and destroy. Imagine that!

Detroit Police: Attack Video Shows 'Heroism'

Many people ask is there a reason for showing this video. I say yes for many reasons. One, Things like this have a tendousy to surface and leak mysteriously anyway. It also makes me have more respect for the jobs in which they have to do. The police officers did a tremendous job. Not once did they run for their lives. They stood firm to protect and thats a life or death facing situation/job that people sometimes take for granted. They don't get a raise in pay for a shoot out and as opposed to walking a beat or sitting at a desk. Its all in a days work, its just some days are easier than others. Godbee is doing an excellent job in portraying a positive light from a negative situation and is bringing proffesionalism to the fore front as I have mentioned to various city council and police in the past 3 years. Thank God for DPD! Whats your view?

McDonald's Employee Beaten By Manager

Just How far have we come since Dr. King? Very far, but its stories like this that have us to remember that we have a long ways to go! Does he deserve to be compensated for this brutal attack that he did not innitiate? I think yes, and a whole lot more! He is a minor, under supervision of an adult supervisor who assaulted him. I say give him compensation for his hospital bills & pain and suffering! What is your perspective after watching this story?

2 Thunbs up!!! I think this is one of the hottest video's in a very long time. Keri Hilson nails it. Although I am a little unsure of some of the artist she mimics, I did guess Dorthy Dandridge, Janet Jackson, TLC, Diana Ross, Beyonce to name a few. I like to see video's get creative and not always talking about taking somebody elses man or woman! I give this 2 thumbs up and the message is clear. Stop Hating on each other ladies especially!!!! 200 Cows drop dead! Coincidence or Sign of the times?

2012's Mayan Calendar theory doesn't seem so far fetched as the natural disaters of the world become more realistic. First the birds, then the fish and the crabs that washed upon the shore in the UK and now COWS??? I think that these things are not just coincidental. I think that we all need to get our priorities in perspective. If you believe in a higher power, now is definitely the time to begin to start your atoning process. These things are out of our control and the world has so many things happening at a speed so complex that we all should be alarmed!

What if next week people start dropping in droves of 500 in any part of the world? The crazy thing is people cannot explain it enough to the point where it makes any sense? The excuses seem like they give some mediocre explanation to what the world witness's as DEATH... An untimely death at that! Death to things that haven't done anything to anybody. Although death is a part of life, no one wants to rush it. No one is in a hurry to see exactly what is waiting on the other side.

No matter what you do in life, let LOVE be your motive. Let it rule your life to lead you to do good to others. When it motivates, it won't misuse people. It won't take advantage of people. It won't steal kill and rape. In the end, at least you can be what appears to be a good person with a good heart who helps rather than wounds. No one knows when their last day will greet them until its here staring you face to face. Give the gift of love today.

Can anybody tell me by watching this video what Kim Kardashian is doing? This commercial looks more like a porno flick than a burger commercial. Being cheap or saving money???

Today I couldn't figure out whether to get Sweet & Sour Chicken or Almond Boneless chicken so I got Sweet & Sour chicken with sweet & sour sauce with a side of almond boneless gravy to have the best of both worlds. I know some people who buy christmas trees and the day after christmas they return it. Is that being cheap or saving money? What do you do to save funds?
